BuboMe is a photo editing website that uses web 2.0 technology. Without needing to download any software, BuboMe allow users to manipulate their photos by adding themes and bubbles, and resize them all within a few clicks.

Yes, all the features you currently see on BuboMe are free. BuboMe will be supported solely by advertising. All the features and functions you have currently been enjoying on BuboMe will continue to remain free!

Through BuboMe.com, when someone uploads a photo, merged it with a selected theme and added bubbles, it creates something new called a 'Bubo'.

Every BuboMe theme has a transparent area, depends on the theme, the size of the transparent area varies, the idea is for you to upload your photo and fit it best into the transparent area and merge the 2 photos into one.

You can start by clicking the 'Create a Bubo' red button at the top right corner of the site, or click on this URL: http://www.bubome.com/bubo

After clicking the 'Create a Bubo' red button, you can click on the 'Specify Image URL' tab, just paste the image web location into the text box and click on Grab It.
If you don't know the image web location, hover your mouse over the image you want to use, and use your mouse right click button, and select 'Properties', it will show you the 'Address (URL)', copy it and paste it into the text box.

Currently BuboMe supports the following image types:
1. JPEG
2. GIF
3. PNG
4. BMP

Every theme has a transparent area, the idea is to fit your uploaded photo best into the transparent area and merge the 2 photos into one.
Once your photo has been uploaded, hover your mouse over your photo and click and hold to drag/move it around, and you should also be able to see the 2 red corners at the top left and bottom right corners, click and hold on either of them and drag to resize your photo, till it best fits into the transparent area in the selected theme.

All the themes are categorized, you can find one by clicking on the 'Categories' tab at the top, select a category, and click on 'Choose a theme' tab

Yes, new ideas and new themes are most welcome. Please remember they need to be in PNG format, and has to have a transparent area.

Once your photo has been uploaded, you should be able to see the 2 red corners at the top left and bottom right corners, click and hold on either of them and drag to resize your photo, till it best fits into the transparent area in the selected theme.

When you are on the Add Bubbles page, you should see the 8 types of Bubbles available on the right hand side, choose one that best fits by clicking and holding it, and dragging it to the desired area on the Bubo, release your mouse and a text box should pop up which will allow you to enter the content of the bubble. Once done then click on the 'Save Bubble' button, wait for a couple of seconds for the bubble to be generated, once it's been generated, it will appear on the Bubo, and again you can drag it to the most desired position. And you can add more than one bubbles.

On the Add Bubbles page, you should see a Trash Can on the right hand side below the 8 types of Bubbles, click hold and drag the bubble that you want to delete to the Trash Can to have it deleted.

Yes, you can start all over again by clicking on the Start Over button. And no, you won't lose your uploaded photo.

You can save your Bubo by logging in if you already have a BuboMe account. if you do not have an account, yes, in order to save your Bubo, you would have to create an account.
If you are currently in the process of creating a Bubo, you can register using the quick registration, that is the small pop up box after you clicking on the Next or Skip button on the Add Bubbles page. All you need to fill out is your email address and a password, then an account will be created for you. Or you can click on the 'Sign Up' link located at the top right corner.

After you have saved your Bubo, you can share it by using the Quick Post box to the right hand side of your Bubo.

1. You can post to all major social network websites by clicking on their logos, and follow the instructions.
2. Or you can copy the HTML codes by clicking on the Copy button at the bottom of the Quick Post box, then paste the codes into your blog/forum or anywhere you want your Bubo to be shown.
3. You can also share your Bubo by emailing a link to your friends, you can do that by clicking on the email icon at the top right corner of the Quick post box, that will allow you to import your contacts from Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo and AOL, or you can choose Enter manually to manually enter your friends email addresses. This will send out an email only containing a link to your Bubo.

You can do so by using the Quick post box to the right hand side of your Bubo. If you see the website that you want to post it to, click on its logo and follow the instructions to have it posted there. To post it on any other websites, you can use the Copy button located at the bottom of the Quick post box, clicking on it will have the HTML codes copied, then you can paste the codes into the website where you want it posted.

You can do so by using the 'Send to a friend' button located on the right hand side of your Bubo. Clicking on it will pop up an email input form, which allows you to enter you friend's email address, or you can import all your contacts from Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo and AOL by clicking on their logo at the top. You can choose to enter a personal message. The email going out to your friends will contain the Bubo, and a link to the Bubo, and your personal message if you entered one.

Once you have saved your Bubo, you can find it by logging into BuboMe and click on My Bubo. Then you should be able to see all your Bubos. Under each of your Bubo, you should be able to see its Broadcast status, if it says 'Public', then you can set it private by clicking on the 'Set Private' link, that will set the Bubo private immediately and take it offline. Refresh the page then you will see its status is now Private, and you can set it Public again by clicking on the 'Set Public' link.

You would have to login first, on your Bubo page where all the comments are, you should be able to see a small 'Delete' link right next to the person's username under each comment, clicking on it will delete the comment immediately, provided that you are the owner of the Bubo.

Pornography and Obscenity are not allowed, if you see any Bubos that violated these rules, please report/flag it by clicking on the 'Flag' link right below the Bubo, that will alert us right away, and we will review the Bubo, and take if offline if necessary.

To find your saved Bubos, login first to BuboMe and click on My Bubo. Then you should be able to see all your saved Bubos. Under each of your Bubo, you should be able to see a 'Edit' link, clicking on it will enable you to start all over again with your existing photo, and the selected theme, just like when you first uploaded the photo, it will allow you to resize it, move it, and add bubbles, saving it will overwrite the existing Bubo.

To find your saved Bubos, login first to BuboMe and click on My Bubo. Then you should be able to see all your saved Bubos. Under each of your Bubo, you should be able to see the 'Title' tag, it the Bubo already has a title, it will display its title, there should be a '(Edit)' link right next to it, clicking on it will enable you to edit the existing title, then clicking on 'Save Title' will save it.
If the Bubo does not have a title, there should be a 'Add a title' link, clicking on it will enable you to add a title, then clicking on 'Save Title' will save it.

To find your saved Bubos, login first to BuboMe and click on My Bubo. Then you should be able to see all your saved Bubos. Under each of your Bubo, you should be able to see the 'Delete' link, clicking on it will remove the Bubo completely.

1. You can then save the Bubo you just created, and able to save all your future Bubos and share/manage them.
2. Share your saved Bubos with all your friends by importing contacts etc. all in a few clicks.
3. Quick post your Bubos to all major social networking sites, e.g. MySpace, FaceBook, Orkut and more.
4. Enable you to edit existing Bubos and reuse the photo you have uploaded to create new Bubos with new themes.
5. You will get a BuboMe member profile page with an unique URL (e.g. username.BuboMe.com), which shows all the Bubos you have created.
6. Enable other members to comment and rate your Bubos.
7. Enable you to add other Bubos to your favorites.

Yes you do, in addition, you will also get an unique URL to your member profile, e.g. username.BuboMe.com, you can then share the URL with all your friends.

Login to BuboMe first, click on '(Update)' link right next to your username at the very top. On the edit profile page, you should see 'Date of bith' at the bottom, and on the right hand side, you can set 'Show only month & day' to the public, or don't show my birthday at all.

Login to Bubome first, click on My Account link at the very top, then click on 'Account Settings' below the search box. On the Account Settings page, you can manage all your email notifications, untick all to turn them all off, then click on 'Save Changes'.

This feature is coming soon, but for now, if you want to cancel your account completely, you can do so by sending an email to BuboMe@gmail.com, remember to include the email address that you have signed up with.
